The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival Student mural Contest has been part of the festival since 2007. Student artists from Eastern Shore middle and high schools participated in the mural contest by working with other students at their school to create an original work of art inspired by the Festival theme of the year.
This year Baldwin County Middle and High School students could participate individually and create their own art piece using a canvas provided by the Fairhope Arts and Craft Festival. The artwork needed to be inspired by the 2025 Festival theme "Paint the Town".
We received more than 40 submissions from young artists in our community. The submissions were displayed Friday night during the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Artist Awards Dinner where they were judged by the artists participating in the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival.
